Description
The Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corporation (RIHEBC) seeks a legislative consulting firm to provide lobbying, legislative agenda development, monitoring, and representation services on its behalf within the State of Rhode Island. The contractor will attend Board meetings as requested, track relevant legislation, draft and sponsor bills, and actively lobby for positions important to RIHEBC. The engagement is initially a one‑year term with the possibility of up to three additional one‑year renewals. The agency will evaluate proposals based on qualifications, experience, understanding of RIHEBC, past performance, and fee proposal.
• Provide legislative monitoring, agenda setting, bill drafting, and lobbying services for RIHEBC.
• Attend RIHEBC Board meetings and report on legislative activity.
• Maintain compliance with Rhode Island lobbyist statutes and disclose any conflicts of interest.
• Submit a fee proposal; no budget ceiling is specified.
