The School District of Philadelphia is seeking contractors to renovate the Sayre Morris Recreation Center, a public‑school facility that includes a pool, locker rooms, and community spaces. The work is organized into four separate contracts (General, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical) and covers demolition, structural repairs, interior finishes, roofing, MEP upgrades, fire‑suppression, and pool‑related systems. Bidders must attend a mandatory site visit on May 13 2026 and submit proposals by June 23 2026.
• Full‑scope renovation (alteration Level 2) of ~7,500 sf of interior space, including pool and gym areas.
• Four trade packages – General Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, Plumbing Contractor, Electrical Contractor – each referenced by bid numbers NG10790‑NG10793.
• Key responsibilities: demolition, concrete & masonry repair, roofing membrane installation, HVAC and plumbing upgrades, fire‑sprinkler system, pool equipment, interior finishes (tile, drywall, flooring), and temporary enclosure/heating provisions.
• Compliance with Philadelphia Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, Fuel‑Gas, Energy Conservation codes and applicable ADA standards.
• No substitutions allowed during the bidding period; all questions answered via addenda.
