Notice of Intent to Sole Source – Bethesda-Chevy Chase Orthopedic Associates, L.L.C

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order to Bethesda-Chevy Chase Orthopedic Associates to provide professional orthopedic surgical consultation services to the NIH Clinical Center. The services will be provided on a continuous 24/7 basis, including routine, urgent, and emergent patient care. The market research demonstrates that Bethesda-Chevy Chase Orthopedic Associates is the only vendor capable of meeting the NIH Clinical Center's unique requirements. • The services will be provided at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, MD. • The acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures. • The contract will be awarded on a firm fixed price sole source award basis. • Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting.
