Kleenburn Road - Tongue River Stabilization Project

Sheridan County is seeking qualified contractors to stabilize approximately 860 linear feet of the Tongue River adjacent to Kleenburn Road. The scope includes excavation, grading, construction of a bankfull bench, installation of boulder cross‑vanes, mini‑vanes, floodplain sills, toewood bank stabilization, riprap placement, revegetation, and associated restoration to protect the roadway from ongoing erosion and river migration. • Perform earth‑moving and channel excavation to create a stable riverbank profile. • Install engineered erosion control structures (boulders, cross‑vanes, floodplain sills, riprap). • Conduct vegetation planting and restoration to ensure long‑term stability of the bank.
