SOURCES SOUGHT – REQUEST FOR INFORMATION for Electro-Magnetic Gradiometer Sensing System Hardware (EMG-SSH) Device

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) is conducting market research to evaluate and determine available sources with competencies and capabilities to provide one Electro-Magnetic Gradiometer Sensing System Hardware (EMG-SSH) device. The device should be sensitive between 50kHz-750kHz and capable of making measurements in the picotesla range to enable detection and mapping of long linear subsurface conductors. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain availability of vendors and to determine interest in participation before a Request for Quote (RFQ) is released for the required item. • The device should meet all specifications as provided in the DRAFT Description of Requirement (DOR) document. • The NAICS Code applicable to this sources sought is NAICS 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. • The Small Business Size Standard for this sources sought is 600 employees. • Respondents are requested to review the attached DRAFT DOR and submit responses to the questions provided.
