Class I biohazard aerosol containment enclosure

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking information from qualified companies to provide a Class I biohazard aerosol containment enclosure for their Cytek Biosciences Aurora CS cell sorter. The enclosure must meet specific size requirements, have sealable openings, and be equipped with a HEPA filtration system. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources to meet the Government's requirement. • The enclosure must fit the existing instrument with minimum dimensions of 38” length x 36” deep x 42” high. • The hood system must have sealable openings aligned to the access doors on the existing cell sorter. • The hood system must have plenum openings on the sides to accommodate power cords and air/vacuum lines. • The hood system must be able to be mounted on an existing reinforced instrument table. • The hood system must be constructed of flexible paneling that can be completely disassembled for service access. • The hood system must be equipped with a HEPA filtration system allowing single-path one-way air flow from the front access panel to the top of the hood.
