Schoolcraft Co Rdsd Parks Janitorial and lawn maintenance

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial and lawn maintenance services for roadside parks in Schoolcraft County. The contractor will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and bi-weekly tasks such as cleaning toilet buildings, picking up litter and debris, sweeping curb, emptying trash barrels, and cleaning picnic tables. The contractor will also be responsible for pumping toilet vaults and disposing of effluent. The contractor must provide all cleaning supplies and materials and furnish suitable equipment to perform the tasks. Some key tasks and responsibilities include: • Cleaning toilet buildings, including floors, stools, seats, and walls • Picking up litter and debris from the grounds and parking areas • Sweeping curb and emptying trash barrels • Cleaning picnic tables and grills • Pumping toilet vaults and disposing of effluent • Removing graffiti from toilet buildings and other structures • Providing all cleaning supplies and materials • Furnishing suitable equipment to perform the tasks
