Budget estimate

$80,000 – $150,000

Based on typical municipal water‑line replacement costs (excavation, pipe, back‑fill, traffic control, and associated fittings), a 420‑ft 2‑in. PE line project in Maine usually ranges between $80,000 and $150,000. The estimate accounts for material costs (~$40‑$60 k), labor and equipment (~$30‑$70 k), and overhead/bonding insurance.
