Request for Proposals for Engineering Services for Water Infrastructure Project

The Monroe County is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for a water infrastructure project. The project has potential funding from HUD - Community Development Block Grant Public Facilities, Appalachian Regional Commission, and/or other federal funding agencies. The scope of work includes preparing a preliminary cost estimate, preliminary engineering report, plans and specifications, bid documents, and construction inspection. The engineer will be responsible for performing all engineering services through project closeout. Key points to consider: • The proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked with the specified language. • Proposals will be evaluated on qualifications, experience, and capacity for performance. • The contract will be awarded to the qualified individual or firm whose proposal has the highest number of cumulative points. • The contract will be on a fixed price basis.
