Description
The Bartow County School System is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified contractors for Building Commissioning Services for the renovation of the College and Career Academy in Cartersville, GA. The project includes the renovation of the lower level of the CCA building, the existing football fieldhouse, and the construction of a new facilities office shop. The successful contractor will provide preconstruction and construction services, including technical review, cost verification, cost evaluation, value engineering, schedule development, and schedule evaluation.
• The project requires a minimum of $30,000,000 to $36,000,000 bonding capacity.
• The contractor must have a current Contractor’s Public Liability Insurance policy with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate.
• The contractor must demonstrate sufficient cash flow to undertake the project as evidenced by a current ratio (assets/liabilities) of 1.0 or higher.
• The contractor must have a commitment to safety with regard to Worker’s Compensation by having a current Experience Modification Rating (EMR) of 1.2 or less.
