Notice of Intent to Sole Source – Storage and shredding services for sensitive patient-related materials

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking to sole source a contract for storage and shredding services for sensitive patient-related materials. The contract will be for a base period of one year plus four option years. The services will be provided by Iron Mountain, which is the industry leader in records and information management of sensitive information. The contract will include the storage and shredding of sensitive patient-related materials generated by the NIH's Clinical Center. • The contract will be for a base period of one year plus four option years. • The services will be provided by Iron Mountain. • The contract will include the storage and shredding of sensitive patient-related materials generated by the NIH's Clinical Center. • The NIH already has about 14,000 linear feet of film stored with Iron Mountain. • The contract will be awarded using the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
