Description
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a vendor to provide temporary emergency backup power to the Redmond Air Tanker Base with a 350 KW 480v 3 phase portable Diesel generator for the 2026 fire season. The contract will be for a base duration of 20 consecutive weeks with additional options for each rental CLIN of 4 consecutive weeks. The vendor will be responsible for delivering the generator, providing operating instructions, and performing maintenance and repairs as needed. The generator must meet all Federal, State, and Local regulations with regards to emission standards.
• The generator must be a trailer-mounted Diesel-Powered Portable Generator with a built-in fuel tank and AUTO start/stop control feature included for remote start with automatic transfer switch (ATS)
• The generator must be capable of running for at least 12 hours without refueling at a minimum of 300 kW (375 kVA) and maximum of 400 KW/500 KVA STANDBY power
• The vendor must provide delivery and pickup of the generator
• The vendor must provide maintenance and repairs as needed
