The Department of Justice’s Federal Prison Industries (UNICOR) is issuing an indefinite‑delivery, indefinite‑quantity (IDIQ) contract for a comprehensive line of lounge‑style office seating. The contract will be awarded on a firm‑fixed‑price basis for a 5‑year base period, with a guaranteed minimum spend of $500 and an estimated multi‑year volume. Offerors must be capable of manufacturing single, two‑ and three‑seat upholstered lounge units (including modular “build‑your‑own” options), provide detailed bill‑of‑materials pricing, meet ANSI/BIFMA X5.4‑2020 performance standards, hold ISO‑9001 (or equivalent) certification, and supply Greenguard‑certified products. Additional requirements include UL certification for any power‑integrated options, a 10‑15‑year warranty, provision of training for UNICOR staff and inmates, and a consignment inventory plan.
