Description
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority seeks a qualified contractor to design, supply, install, test, and commission comprehensive security upgrades at the Forest Hills Yard rail facility. The scope includes repairing and installing perimeter fencing, a swing gate, bollards, a security‑equipment cabinet, new electrical service and panels, shielded CAT‑6 cabling, PoE infrastructure, and a full suite of IP surveillance cameras, radar and thermal sensors, as well as removal of obsolete equipment. All work must adhere to the stamped design drawings, include full as‑built documentation, testing reports, and a five‑year warranty with an eight‑hour response SLA. The contract is a lump‑sum award with required bid, payment, and performance bonds, and includes allowances for contingency, contaminated soil, rock removal, and back‑fill.
