Description
The Muskegon Area Intermediate School District (MAISD) is seeking a general contractor for the interior renovations of their administrative offices, located at 630 Harvey Street, Muskegon, MI 49442. The project includes all labor, materials, and permits necessary for the complete construction of the renovations. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining proper barricades and protection for the public, as well as providing a full-time field superintendent. The project is expected to be completed by September 2026.
• The contractor must furnish a bid bond, certified or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the base bid.
• The contractor must provide a performance bond and labor and material payment bond covering 100% of the value of the project.
• The contractor must comply with the City of Muskegon's requirements for bonding, insurance, and licensing.
• The contractor must provide all electrical distribution throughout the renovation, including light fixtures, wiring devices, conduit, and wiring to power them.
