Standard Recovery - Brazil (Follow-on)

The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM Bank) is seeking a contractor to provide loan recovery assistance for a defaulted debt in Brazil. The contractor will be responsible for providing collection services, instituting legal proceedings, and taking other actions to effect recovery. The contractor must have experience in locating assets, drafting restructuring agreements, and litigating collection matters in Brazil. The contractor will be compensated on a contingency fee basis, with a negotiated fee percentage applied to the total amount collected. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing collection services and instituting legal proceedings • Conducting asset searches and credit analysis • Drafting restructuring agreements and litigating collection matters • Providing written briefs and collected funds reports • Ensuring compliance with Brazilian law and maintaining thorough and accurate records • Participating in regular and ad-hoc meetings with EXIM Bank's Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
