Counseling and Anger Management Services

The County of Riverside is seeking proposals from qualified bidders to provide individual and group counseling and anger management services for the clients of the Children’s Services Division (CSD) as well as walk-in residents of Riverside County. The primary goal of the program is to reduce recurrence of maltreatment, entry/re-entry into the Child Welfare System, and increase re-unification by equipping parents/caregivers with the knowledge and skills necessary to increase their capacity to safely parent their children. The target population for the program is parents/caregivers who have been identified as needing counseling and/or anger management treatment, as well as children/youth from reported and/or at-risk families in need of counseling and anger management. • The program aims to provide evidence-based/evidence-informed/promising/supported/well-supported treatment for parents/caregivers, children, and youth. • The County is divided into four separate zones, and bidders must specify the zone(s) in which they may provide services. • The procurement seeks applicants for Zones 2, 3, and 4. • The contract was awarded to MarSell Consulting & Mental Health Services, pending the Riverside County Board of Supervisors approval.
