CHANNEL CLEANING SERVICES

The contract is for channel cleaning services, including debris removal, silt removal, tree trimming, and shrub trimming. The contractor is required to provide a full-time crew to perform routine debris and trash removal services, as well as two additional full-time crews to perform channel cleaning services on an as-needed basis. The contract has a total aggregate amount not to exceed $3,000,000. The contractor will be paid on an hourly rate per crew, with disposal fees for routine trash and debris removal. The contract also includes provisions for payment terms, invoicing instructions, and insurance requirements. • Debris removal: removal of trash, debris, obstructions, and silt from the channel invert • Tree trimming: trimming of trees overhanging the channel right-of-way • Shrub trimming: trimming of shrubs growing on or through the right-of-way fence • Vegetation removal: removal of vegetation from channel slopes and access walkways • Payment terms: invoices are to be submitted in arrears, with payment net 30 days after receipt of an invoice • Insurance requirements: the contractor is required to maintain insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, and workers' compensation insurance.
