Description
The County of Butte is seeking pre-qualifications from contractors for the construction of a 35,706 square foot detention facility. The facility will include 134 beds, medical and dental clinic, pharmacy, program and training space, staff work areas, a new intake and release area, and new visitation area. The Engineer's estimate for this project is $34,631,283, and the construction schedule is 18 months. Contractors must have specific relevant experience completing at least two projects for which construction costs were in excess of $20,000,000 for construction of schools, medical facilities, or detention facilities.
