Hewett Park Improvements

The City of Boise is seeking bids for the Hewett Park Improvements project, which includes site clearing and grubbing, demolition of existing concrete and playground, site grading and drainage, concrete sidewalk construction, site furnishings, irrigation repair, and seeding. The project requires a bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier’s check, or cash in the amount of 5% of the bid amount. The City of Boise reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bids received. • The project includes multiple line items, including mobilization, erosion and traffic control, demolition, grading, flatwork, site amenities, playground base, irrigation, and landscape. • The project requires the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. • The project includes three add alternate items, which include the installation of a water meter, curb stop, potable line, backflow, drinking fountain, sump drain, and concrete pad, as well as the replacement of existing reinforced concrete pipe with SDR35 PVC pipe. • The project requires the contractor to submit a bid proposal signature page, bid bond, and other required documents. • The project includes a list of planholders, which includes companies such as Andersen Construction Company of Idaho LLC, BriCon, Inc., and Clearwater Landscape and Irrigation LLC.
