Faith-Based Services

This contract is for faith-based services to be provided to the inmate population at Orange County Corrections. The services include in-cell programs, religious education and services, Bible study classes, individual and group counseling sessions, and coordination of faith-based volunteers. The contract has a term of 4 years, with an option to renew for an additional 2 years. The contract amount is $90,000 annually, with a total not to exceed $270,000 for the initial 3-year term. The contractor is required to provide monthly reports and to cooperate with the county in the development of performance measures. • The contractor is required to provide a minimum of two full-time qualified human services representatives with credentials recognizable as Prison/Jail Chaplains. • The contractor is required to provide religious based services to the inmate population at Orange County Corrections, including in-cell programs, religious education and services, and Bible study classes. • The contractor is required to provide individual and group counseling sessions, family contact in times of crisis, and coordination of faith-based volunteers. • The contractor is required to submit monthly reports to the county, including a chaplain's monthly report and other data as requested. • The contractor is required to cooperate with the county in the development of performance measures and to participate in periodic reviews and evaluations.
