ALLENTOWN FIRE DEPARTMENT FOUL WEATHER JACKETS

The City of Allentown Fire Department is seeking a proposal for a two-piece jacket ensemble, consisting of a waterproof outer shell jacket and a coordinating softshell jacket. The contract is for the supply of 100 to 175 jackets over four years, with an estimated purchase of 100 to 130 jackets in 2024. The contract was awarded to Pacific Crest Uniform Company, dba Mountain Uniforms, with a total price of $80,500 for 175 sets, including shipping. The contract includes a one-year warranty on any factory defect. • The jackets must be designed for independent wear as well as to be layered together. • The outer shell jacket must have a mid-weight Toyota Gelanots performance fabric or comparable, rated at 20,000+mm waterproof / 20,000+mp breathable with laminated membrane and lined. • The softshell jacket must match the outer shell in color and color blocking. • The contract includes a production and delivery timeframe, with an estimated delivery of 80 sets by January 31, 2025, and the balance depending on final size and order confirmation.
