Moving Services Countywide

This contract is for moving services for various departments countywide in Pinellas County, Florida. The services will be requested on an as-needed basis and may include packing, loading, unloading, and transportation of items. The contract has an initial term of three years with two one-year options to renew. The contractor must provide a remediation plan to address damages and/or unsatisfactory services. The pricing proposal includes hourly rates for supervisors, drivers, and moving personnel, as well as ad hoc services. • The contract requires the contractor to maintain chain of custody when transporting items to surplus and/or for disposal. • The contractor must pack all furniture and equipment to prevent damage to county property. • The contractor is responsible for any disassembly/reassembly of furniture and equipment. • The contractor must supply necessary moving supplies at no additional cost to the county. • The contractor must properly dispose of all materials, furniture, and supplies/equipment. • The contractor must provide a contact and working telephone number for service requests. • The contractor must notify the county designee of inability to satisfactorily perform requested work.
