This grant funds the implementation of a New Jersey‑adapted version of the “Coaching Boys Into Men” curriculum to prevent sexual violence among boys and young men (ages 10‑24) in underserved communities. Awardees must hire at least one NJ‑CBIM Advocate, conduct community readiness assessments, recruit and train roughly 90 “influential figures” each year, deliver a 12‑week curriculum, and collect pre‑ and post‑program data with quarterly reporting. The program must serve at least one of the state’s top‑20 most distressed municipalities and provide materials in Spanish and other languages as needed. Funding is available up to $450,000 per award for a two‑year period, with no matching‑fund requirement, and all costs must be justified in the budget.
