Traffic Counts and Speed Studies

This contract is for traffic counts and speed studies to be provided by Field Data Services of Arizona, Inc. to the City of Peoria, Arizona. The contract includes specifications for the types of traffic counts and speed studies to be conducted, as well as the format for submitting reports. The contract also includes terms and conditions for the vendor, including requirements for insurance, indemnification, and document use. Some key points of this contract include: * The vendor will provide approximately 240 traffic counts at various locations citywide on local, collector, and arterial streets annually. * The vendor will provide approximately ten peak-hour and ten 24-hour turning movement counts at various locations citywide. * The vendor will provide approximately 10 24-hour bicycle counts at various locations citywide, primarily away from intersections, in designated bike lanes or on multi-use paths. * The vendor will provide approximately 30 2-hour pedestrian counts at various locations citywide, primarily at signalized and unsignalized intersections on arterial and collector streets. * The vendor will submit electronic final reports in Microsoft Excel, including hourly and daily count totals with averages for each direction, and hourly and daily totals with averages for both directions combined. * The vendor will also provide a one-page summary report for each study, including the location of the study, the direction of travel, average volumes, and peak-hour volumes.
