Neal Road Recycling & Waste Facility Waste Tire Recycling Tire Amnesty Events

The Butte County Public Works Department is seeking bids for the removal and disposal/recycling of waste tires generated at a series of one-day tire amnesty events at the Neal Road Recycling & Waste Facility. The contractor will be responsible for picking up waste tires collected over a series of one-day collection events, including standard passenger car and light truck tires, as well as larger truck tires. The tentative dates for the series of amnesty events are June 2023, July 2023, and August 2023. • The contractor must provide a price for each type of tire, including passenger tires on and off the rim, and large tires on and off the rim. • The contractor must also provide a delivery charge. • The County will evaluate the bids based on the prices submitted and will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. • The contract will be for a period of time, but the exact duration is not specified. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to environmental protection and worker safety.
