The City of Keene is seeking a contractor to install a new access port on the City's historic buried Town Brook brick pipe. The scope of work includes saw-cutting and removal of a portion of the existing reinforced concrete floor slab, hand excavation of approximately 1CY of material above the pipe, and cutting a 40-inch diameter cylindrical opening into the top of the existing brick pipe. The access port must be watertight due to pressure flow conditions that develop inside the pipe during heavy rainfall. The contract was awarded to Pine Hill Construction LLC for $14,600.00.
