Inmate Clothing

This contract provides Snohomish County’s correctional facilities with a full suite of inmate apparel, including multi‑color uniform tops, elastic‑waist pants, and suicide‑prevention smocks and blankets. The solicitation was issued as a sealed‑bid Invitation to Bid (ITB) and attracted several competitors. After evaluation, the contract was split into two awardees: Uniforms Manufacturing, Inc. received the uniform tops and pants (Schedule A) and Charm‑Tex received the specialty smock and blanket items (Schedule B). The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, two‑year agreement with a possible three‑year extension, and requires delivery within 30 working days of each order.
