Forensic Pathology Services

The contract is for Forensic Pathology Services to be provided to the Ocean County Medical Examiner's Office. The services include performing forensic autopsies and homicide autopsies as a Pathologist. The contract is awarded to four vendors: Peter Mazari, M.D.; Elizabeth A. Rouse, M.D. (Forensic Medicine Specialists, LLC); Dante Ragasa, M.D.; and Karabi Sinha, M.D. (Pathology Consultation Services, LLC). The contract period is from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, and the total cost shall not exceed $700,000.00. • The contract is a Professional Services Agreement. • The services will be provided by licensed physicians authorized by law to practice the profession of medicine. • The contract is awarded in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law. • The funding for the contract will be available in budget account number 016-286-4414. • The contract is contingent upon the adoption of the 2024 Temporary County Budget and the 2024 County Budget.
