The City of Independence, Missouri is seeking a qualified entity to assume ownership of the Missouri City Power Plant and the 87-acre site on which it is located. The selected vendor will be responsible for the demolition of the plant, restoration of the site, and environmental remediation. The contract was awarded to Environmental Operations, Inc.
