TREE MORTALITY MITIGATION PROJECT #23

The County of Amador is seeking sealed bids for the furnishing of all labor, tax, bonds, insurance, permits, premiums, shipping, transportation, services, disposal, equipment, materials, and appurtenant facilities for qualified Licensed Timber Operators (LTO-A) possessing a C-61/D-49 contractor’s license to provide Tree Mitigation services in the project area delineated in ITB 24-10. The services requested will include all operations related to the safe, legal, efficient cutting of dead and/or dying trees, selective removal of trees and treatment of associated slash and debris that pose a hazard to county roads. • The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements. • Potential contractors must possess a contractor’s license in the C-61/D-49 classification and be duly registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. • A mandatory pre-bid meeting was conducted on June 27, 2024. • Sealed bids were received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office until 1:30 PM, Thursday, July 25, 2024. • The contract was awarded to four vendors: Anvil Builders, Inc., Mario's Tree Service, Best Quality Tree Service, and Community Tree Service.
