UNF B12 Thomas G. Carpenter Library IT Help Desk

The University of North Florida (UNF) is seeking a general contractor to renovate the IT Help Desk located on the first floor of the Thomas G. Carpenter Library on the UNF campus. The renovation includes partial demolition, new freestanding partition wall assemblies, wood-paneled millwork, ceiling system, flooring, paint, new finishes, minor patching and repairs, and upgrades to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems. The contract is expected to be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The contract value is estimated to be $755,149.33. • The contractor will be responsible for completing the renovation within 120 calendar days of the notice to proceed. • The contractor will be required to provide performance and payment bonds for the project. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to labor, materials, and safety. • The contractor will be required to provide a certified, cashier’s or treasurer’s check, bank draft, bank official check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount as a condition for participating in this competitive solicitation.
