Grease Trap Cleaning and Maintenance

The College of Charleston is seeking a vendor to provide scheduled and as-needed grease trap cleaning, pumping, and maintenance services for various locations on campus, including the Craig Catering Kitchen, Stern Center Food Court, Einstein Brother's Bagels, City Bistro, TD Arena, and Liberty Street Fresh Food Company. The contract is for a period of 5 years, starting from July 1, 2023, and ending on June 30, 2028. The selected vendor will be required to provide grease trap cleaning and maintenance services, including pumping and cleaning of grease traps, rinsing of grease lines, and removal and disposal of pumped waste material. The vendor will also be required to provide emergency grease trap cleaning and maintenance services as needed. • The contract includes 14 service line items, each with a specific description, quantity, and unit of measurement. • The vendor will be required to provide a copy of their license and certification to provide grease trap pumping services and maintenance. • The vendor will be required to provide MSDS sheets for all proposed cleaning products. • The contract includes a provision for the vendor to subcontract with other businesses for portions of the work, but the subcontractors must be identified and approved by the College of Charleston.
