Description
This contract awards Snohomish County the complete design‑build replacement of three storm‑water culverts (RR48100, RR48655, RR48907) including associated earthwork, drainage, road resurfacing, erosion control, and ancillary site work. The scope covers mobilization, clearing and grubbing, excavation, placement of precast concrete split‑box culverts and an aluminum arch culvert, installation of 18‑in. corrugated polyethylene storm‑sewer pipe, back‑filling, crushed‑aggregate base and top courses, hot‑mix asphalt paving, extensive erosion‑control measures (silt fence, biodegradable blankets, hydro‑seeding), traffic‑control signage, temporary de‑watering, and mailbox relocation. The contract is a lump‑sum award to Marshbank Construction, Inc. with a total bid of approximately $1.87 million and a required 5 % bid bond. The work must be completed within a 60‑working‑day window, with an in‑water work period limited to mid‑July through August 2022.
