Cultural Resource Investigations

The State of Utah Division of Purchasing issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for cultural resource investigations, which includes conducting archaeological surveys, performing archaeological site documentations, providing National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility recommendations, making recommendations regarding effects to cultural resources, and producing the associated cultural resources documentation and reports. The contract resulting from this RFP will be for 5 years. The evaluation committee determined that 16 vendors met the minimum score threshold and may receive a contract award. • The contract is for cultural resource investigations, including archaeological surveys and site documentations. • The contract is for 5 years. • 16 vendors may receive a contract award. • The vendors must have experience in archaeological field work, including experience in the Great Basin and Colorado Plateau. • The vendors must have a minimum of 12 months professional experience and/or specialized training in archaeological field work. • The contract includes provisions for new technology and technological upgrades. • The contract includes provisions for legislative appropriations and additional funding.
