Santa Clara Valley Water District (Valley Water) is seeking qualified firms to provide on‑call cultural‑resource, paleontological, and tribal‑resource assessment, investigation, compliance, monitoring, and consultation‑support services for its Stream Maintenance Program. The contract is indefinite‑delivery, on‑call for a five‑year period, with work issued only via task orders. Minimum qualifications include at least five years’ experience in cultural‑resource assessment, experience with California tribes, and knowledge of the National Historic Preservation Act and Section 106. Proposers must submit a technical proposal, a separate password‑protected cost file, and extensive compliance documentation (conflict‑of‑interest, non‑collusion, W‑9, etc.). The total Not‑to‑Exceed ceiling for the five‑year term is $500,000, with a $500 standby payment if no task orders are issued. The award will be based on qualifications (firm experience, key personnel, technical approach) rather than price, with optional oral interviews in mid‑December.
