IT Building Chiller Replacement Project

The University of Wyoming is seeking a contractor to replace the existing 120-ton chiller and remote evaporator at the IT Building. The project includes modifying the exterior yard wall enclosure, concrete pads, and relocating yard gates. The contractor will also furnish and install a new air-cooled chiller, complete with an air separator, glycol makeup unit, expansion tank, pumps, plate and frame heat exchanger, new piping, controls, and electrical feed. The estimated project completion date is July 31, 2018. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid meeting, including a walk-through, which was held on December 19, 2017. • The bid submission date was January 12, 2018, at 4:00:00 PM EST. • The bid bond shall be accompanied by a certified copy of Power of Attorney, and be signed or countersigned by an agent of the bonding company. • The University of Wyoming takes the bid result information under advisement and will review all of the information provided prior to making a decision.
