This Request for Information (RFI 15143) seeks data from potential natural‑gas suppliers for the Interior Energy Project (IEP) in interior Alaska. The goal is to identify long‑term (minimum five‑year) supply options for Cook Inlet natural gas that can meet highly seasonal demand (winter demand roughly three times summer demand) and support a future LNG‑plant (200,000 gal/day, expandable to 400,000 gal/day). Respondents must detail contract terms, delivery points, volumes, pricing, credit quality, and storage options, with a target price of about $15 per MCF. Responses are to be hand‑delivered by July 16 2015 to AIDEA’s procurement office. No vendor has yet been selected; the agency will use the information gathered to negotiate direct supply agreements.
