College Boulevard, Lone Elm Road to Woodland Road Improvements and Arterial Mill and Overlay from K-7 Highway to Lone Elm Road Improvements

This contract is for the construction of College Boulevard, Lone Elm Road to Woodland Road Improvements and Arterial Mill and Overlay from K-7 Highway to Lone Elm Road Improvements. The work includes the construction of additional through lanes, intersection improvements, turn lanes, sidewalks, storm sewers, traffic signals, street lights, median landscaping, and irrigation. The contract also includes the mill and asphalt overlay of College Boulevard from K-7 Highway to Lone Elm Road. The project is located in the City of Olathe, Kansas. Some key features of the project include: • Construction of a four-lane thoroughfare standard from Lone Elm Road to Woodland Road • Intersection improvements at the College Boulevard and Lone Elm Road intersection and the College Boulevard and Woodland Road intersection • Asphalt overlay, curb and sidewalk replacement, and replacement of existing non-compliant ADA ramps • A satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder or an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid for work • The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds The City of Olathe reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
