Multi-Sport Courts and Baseball Field Upgrades

This contract involves the design‑build construction of new multi‑sport courts and upgrades to an existing baseball field at Plamann Park in Appleton, WI. Outagamie County issued a sealed‑bid solicitation (RFP PP SC25) and awarded the $1.3 million lump‑sum contract to Vinton Construction. The scope includes demolition of existing pavement, grading, installation of concrete (or alternate asphalt) courts, chain‑link fencing, flagpoles, lighting, irrigation, and related site utilities, all to be completed by substantive completion on May 15 2026 with final completion by May 25 2026. The County requires a 5 % bid bond, performance and payment bonds equal to the contract sum, and comprehensive insurance coverage as detailed in Attachment A.
