Description
The City of Corpus Christi is seeking owner's representative services for an industrial saltwater desalination project. The project aims to deliver a 15-25 Million Gallon per Day (MGD) saltwater desalination facility to provide a drought-tolerant and sustainable water supply for industrial use in San Patricio and Nueces Counties, Texas. The selected vendor will advise the city on project delivery and prepare requests for qualifications/proposals (RFQ/RFP) necessary for project delivery. Key aspects of the project include:
• Planning, design, and construction of the desalination facility
• Cost estimating and procurement expertise
• Regulatory permitting compliance and power generation
• Social and environmental considerations
• Delivery timelines and alternative project delivery methods
• Contract negotiations and procurement and financing through private interests.
