Engineering Services, Geotechnical Engineering; Continuing Contract

The contract is for Geotechnical Engineering Services, Continuing Contract, with the purpose of selecting the most qualified Geotechnical Engineering firms on a continuing basis for projects under $2 million dollars. The contract will commence and continue throughout its duration based on satisfactory performance. The scope of work includes geotechnical engineering services, and the engineer or engineering company shall also be able to provide registered surveying or mapping through in-house staff or subcontracted outside staff. • The contract is based on a Request for Qualifications (RFQual) that was nationally broadcast. • The evaluation team short-listed two firms, GFA International, Inc. and NOVA Engineering & Environmental, LLC, and determined they offered the best value per the evaluation criteria. • The contract will be negotiated and entered into with the most qualified firms that will accept a compensation which the District determines fair, competitive, and reasonable. • The annual budget estimate is $1,000,000.
