Hazardous and Biological Waste Services

This contract is for hazardous and biological waste services for the Georgia Southern University. The contractor will provide a scheduled 90-day service pick-up of hazardous waste and technical support by trained technicians. The contractor will handle all RCRA type waste and provide Certificates of HazWoper training for personnel and drivers handling GSU waste. The contract term is from the date of award until the end of the State’s current fiscal year, with four one-year options to renew. The evaluation process will consider factors such as cost, responsiveness, and responsibility. Some key points to consider are: • The contractor must be able to meet all delivery requirements in the specifications document. • The contractor must provide GA standard insurance coverage and requested insurance certificates. • The contractor must agree to price match the lowest vendor's price for this bid if they are a Small Business or Georgia Resident Small business. • The contractor must provide all shipping papers and documents, including Hazardous Waste Manifests, prior to leaving the university. • The contractor must provide waste invoices compatible with packaging lists with drum content by waste type and amount.
