Access Line for Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health Services

The County of Fresno, on behalf of the Department of Behavioral Health, is seeking a vendor to provide a 24/7 telephone access line for substance use disorders and mental health services and information requests. The selected vendor, Exodus Recovery, Inc., will be responsible for operating this service. The contract was awarded after a review committee evaluated proposals from two vendors, with Exodus Recovery, Inc. being the recommended provider due to their experience and familiarity with Fresno County and its unique needs. Some key aspects of the service include: • Providing a 24/7 telephone access line for substance use disorders and mental health services and information requests • Handling urgent/emergent situations in a responsive and effective manner • Minimizing the potential for disconnected calls and errors • Tracking and reporting all incoming calls • Providing clear descriptions of how the service will be operated and managed
