Description
The contract is for a custom-built double expandable 53 ft. trailer with 3 individual rooms, including a demonstration kitchen, conference room, and office. The trailer will be used for outreach programs, including nutritional training, farmer training, youth training, senior citizen training, and health training. The contract includes requirements for the trailer's design, construction, and delivery, as well as warranty and maintenance provisions. The contract also includes provisions for insurance, taxes, and other legal requirements.
• The trailer must be designed and built to meet specific requirements, including a 2-station demonstration kitchen, a conference room, and an office.
• The trailer must be capable of being opened into one large room or closed off to create 2 or 3 separate areas.
• The trailer must be built to allow towing by a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia with a sliding 5th wheel pin.
• The contract includes a warranty period of one year, during which the supplier is responsible for any repairs or maintenance.
• The contract also includes provisions for additional scored questions, including the supplier's experience, references, and warranty service programs.
