This contract is for the replacement of a septic system at 7076 Schoeph Dr. in Northfield, Ohio. The winning bidder, Wood Investment Property, LLC, will install an NPDES compliant aerobic treatment unit capable of treating at least 360 gallons per day with a pump fail safe. The contractor must meet all aspects of the state's sewage treatment system rules and locate all water wells. The existing septic must be pumped, crushed, and filled according to state and local code. The contract also includes the connection of downspouts and requires the contractor to inspect the interior of the unit to ensure all plumbing is connected in accordance with the Summit County Environmental Health Code. • The contract requires the contractor to provide a warranty for the work. • The contractor must have a current registration, bond, and insurance on file with the appropriate jurisdictions building department and Summit County Health District. • The contractor must carry a minimum of $2,000,000 of General Commercial Liability Insurance and $1,000,000 of Commercial Auto Liability. • The winning bidder must list the County of Summit as an additional insured on their policy. • The contract is subject to Davis Bacon wage rates.
