The State of Utah - Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is requesting bids for the construction of the Judy Ann Buffmire Building Mechanical Upgrades project. The scope of work includes replacing the existing building automation system and select HVAC components. The contractor shall furnish and install a fully integrated Niagara 4.12 based BAS that is multivendor support ready using open protocol controls, JACE 9000 (s), and includes all related control devices. The mechanical components to be replaced include (27) VAV boxes, (9) fan coil units, (2) boilers, and a single heating water pump (P-4). Five gas fired unit heaters shall also be replaced. The construction cost estimate is $455,000.00. • The project is located at 1595 W 500 S, Salt Lake City, Utah. • A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. • The bid documents will be available at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 on the Utah Public Procurement Place (U3P) website. • The project requires a fully integrated Niagara 4.12 based BAS. • The project includes replacement of mechanical components such as VAV boxes, fan coil units, boilers, and unit heaters.
