Forensic Pathology Services

The contract is for Forensic Pathology Services to be provided to the Ocean County Medical Examiner's Office. The services include performing forensic autopsies and homicide autopsies as a Pathologist. The contract was awarded to five vendors: Gerard Breton, M.D.; Ian Hood, M.D. (Forensic Pathology Consultants, Inc.); Dante Ragasa, M.D.; Karabi Sinha, M.D. (Pathology Consultation Services, LLC); and Peter Mazari, M.D. The contract period is from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022, and the total cost for the services shall not exceed $660,000.00. • The contract is a Professional Services Agreement. • The services will be provided by licensed physicians authorized by law to practice the profession of medicine. • The contract was awarded based on the evaluation of the Ocean County Consultant Selection Review Committee. • The contract is contingent upon the adoption of the 2022 Temporary County Budget and the 2022 County Budget.
