AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE FACILITY LOT RESURFACING

The County of Kauai, Department of Finance, Division of Purchasing, has awarded a contract to Jas. W. Glover, Ltd. for the Automotive Maintenance Facility Lot Resurfacing project. The contract amount is $167,860.00. The project involves cold planing and repaving of the automotive maintenance facility lot. The contractor is required to furnish and pay for all materials, labor, transportation, tools, equipment, machinery, and services necessary to construct or install the project in place complete. The contract is subject to the execution and return of the executed contract, performance and payment bond, and insurance as required. • The project requires cold planing of approximately 2,655 square yards and repaving with approximately 400 tons of 2.5" thick asphalt concrete mix. • The contractor must comply with the County's Bid Document 3455 and all applicable laws and regulations. • The contract is expected to start after the "Notice To Proceed" is issued, and the contractor must submit a final payment invoice with the required documentation, including tax compliance and contractor's certificate of compliance.
