BC-BID-22-02 COOP - Roadside Vegetation Control Services

The contract is for roadside vegetation control services, with a total value not to exceed $80,000.00. The contract is open-ended, meaning that the County of Bergen is not obligated to order, accept, or pay for services except when it orders them. The vendor, Downes Tree Service, will provide services for a twelve-month period commencing June 22, 2024, through June 21, 2025. The contract includes two twelve-month renewal options. The services will be provided to the Bergen County Department of Parks, Forestry Division. • The contract is a cooperative purchasing agreement, which allows other members of the cooperative to take advantage of the pricing established. • The vendor's rates include a total daily lump rate cost of $3,495.00 per 800 gallons, and a price per gallon in excess of 800 gallons of $12.00. • The contract is subject to the Affirmative Action Regulations of the State of New Jersey and the requirements of Public Law 1975, Chapter 127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.
